South African Indian Wedding Photographers – Himarsha and Vijesh

South African Indian Wedding Photographers

What an adventure this wedding was and how amazing to have been chosen as the South African Indian wedding photographers for Himarsha & Vijesh’s Durban wedding celebrations!

Family and friends from all over the world came together to share in their events and they were lucky to not only have one, but THREE wedding celebrations around the world, on THREE different continents.

As South African Indian Wedding Photographers, we were lucky to have captured their Registry Wedding in London last year, and also their Durban Indian Wedding which took place at the amazing Collisheen Estate that is made up of two venues. The Durban Indian Wedding photography ceremony took place in the picturesque gardens of the Orchid House – the most wonderful setting for a charming and intimate wedding.

On the morning of the wedding, Himarsha & Vijesh both got ready in Umhlanga at The Oyster Box Hotel. This prestigious hotel is one of KwaZulu-Natal’s prime wedding venues and a dream for most South African Indian wedding photographers to photograph here. Standing majestically on Umhlanga’s beachfront, overlooking the Indian Ocean and the iconic lighthouse, this was the perfect setting for the couple to start their day.

South African Indian weddings are always full of so much colour, emotion and tradition, and we especially enjoy capturing the love that you can see between these couples and their families and friends. And this was no different for Himarsha & Vijesh. After the Durban Indian wedding ceremony, there was a bit of a break for everyone to recharge their batteries for the evening’s celebrations to continue.

Himarsha, originally from South Africa, headed for India to make the most of the opportunities that its fashion and film industries have to offer. This is also where she met Vijesh, who is from London. Mela, a South African magazine television show with an eastern flavour was also there to document their wedding. You can view it here. You can also view their Umhlanga Mehndi & Sangeet events here.

The Boma at Collisheen is an open sided building set in beautiful gardens which, at night, is transformed into a fairyland with lights in the trees and on the bridge and it was the perfect setting for Himarsha & Vijesh’s Black Tie evening reception.

Apart from this wedding being an extraordinary affair, the only other thing we can say about Himarsha & Vijesh’s Durban Indian wedding, is that it was filled with a lot of CRAZY and FUN (in a wonderful way of course) and these South African Indian Wedding Photographers experienced something we will never forget!
